First Playtest Went Pretty Nicely

The first real playtest of KILL THE COLOSSUS went really great!
I was having problems finding enough time and friends irl for the occasion but in the end it worked out with Discord and Tabletop Simulator.
We created our own colossus for the session and the first card - determining the colossus' form - was "The Magician", so we agreed to have a giant Angel/Mech as the carrier of our civilization, which on it's own is sick enough.
The most important thing for me was seeing if the gameplay loop could work at a table and if the Paragon System would work with tarot cards instead of dice. Apart from a whole bunch of fixable problems, the main takeaway from this first session was that the game does work and that we had a pretty great time with it!
So the rules are pretty much fixed, leaving only the layout and design part to be tackled...The biggest question right now is whether or not I should embrace poverty and hire a real pixel artist to design an entire tarot deck? I have designed the major arcana cards with my little amateur skill, but don't know if I can find it in me to also design the minor arcana as well...
The full tarot deck sounds like the perfect stretch goal for a kickstarter (which I don't know how to do), but if the game makes some money, I could use that to pay for the tarot deck...we'll see!
Thanks for reading my ramblings!
More updates soon!
